Briefs and testing

Generate a creative from a brief

Move a saved approved route towards a reviewed creative without confusing concepts with finished footage.

Availability

  • Third-party generation transports, per-shot provider overrides, generated VO/SFX and finished-video mastering/format cut-downs require further integration.

Steps

  1. Script & shots: approve the route, hook, payoff and finished-length targets.
  2. Storyboard frames: lock real product references and keep lettering separate.
  3. Shot clips: show estimates before generation; current Gemini concept openings stop at eight seconds.
  4. Finishing: edit supers, captions/SRT, approved logo/end card and licensed VO/music/SFX in the production pack; target −14 LUFS.
  5. Versions: plan 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9, plus 6s/15s/30s cut-downs.
  6. Pre-flight: check the brand book, brief, claims, rights, disclosure and local review before client sign-off.

What good looks like

An AI-generated concept remains labelled until replaced by real footage or the client explicitly approves AI use. The Owner checks provider connections in Settings → Connections → Generation providers.

Common mistakes

  • Pasting API keys into chat or a form.
  • Treating a saved key as a tested generation model.
  • Assuming a public product image or music subscription grants production rights.
