Formula and example

known engagements / views

Example (fictional): 487 engagements on 12K views: 4.1% engagement per view.

Steps

  1. Find it wherever the unit reads “% engagement per view”.
  2. Press the “i” (Why am I seeing this) next to the number to see the posts, period and confidence behind it.
  3. Check eligibility: Same channel, source, period and format family; known positive views.
  4. It needs at least 5 eligible posts before Klypps shows a value.

What good looks like

The number has a source badge, a “based on N posts” line and a confidence level you can defend in a meeting.

Pitfalls

  • Comparing a Reel’s rate with a carousel’s — different format families.
  • Using follower counts as the denominator. Klypps uses views.
