Versus usual

Views divided by the brand’s median eligible video views on the same channel and source, aged at least 3 days.

Formula and example

views / brand-channel eligible median views

Example (fictional): A Fable Coffee video with 24K views when its usual on that channel is 10K: 2.4× usual.

Steps

  1. Find it wherever the unit reads “× usual”.
  2. Press the “i” (Why am I seeing this) next to the number to see the posts, period and confidence behind it.
  3. Check eligibility: Eligible videos on the same brand, channel, source and relationship; creator baselines stay creator-specific.
  4. It needs at least 3 eligible posts before Klypps shows a value.

What good looks like

The number has a source badge, a “based on N posts” line and a confidence level you can defend in a meeting.

Pitfalls

  • Comparing a 1-day-old post — posts need at least 3 days before they count.
  • Comparing × usual across brands as if it were raw reach. It is relative to each brand’s own normal.
